How to get the most from it
Use real positions. Screenshot a game you are in the middle of, import it, and practise on the board you are actually facing — the shapes you struggle with in a real game are rarely the ones a random position throws at you.
When you take a hint, stop and ask what you would have needed to notice to avoid it. If hint one (the score) already surprises you, you are underestimating the position — look for a sweep or an unused premium square. If you need the starting square, the play is probably somewhere you had stopped looking, like a parallel play alongside an existing word.
A drill that works
- Import a mid-game board and enter your real rack.
- Give yourself sixty seconds before touching a hint.
- Take hints one at a time; stop the moment you see the word.
- Reveal, then read the score breakdown to see where the points came from.

Common questions
How is this different from the solver?
Same engine, answer hidden. The solver tells you the move immediately; practice mode tells you only that a move worth N points exists, and makes you work down through the hints to find it.
What order do the hints come in?
Score, then word length, then the starting square, then the direction, then the first letter, then the second. Each one narrows the search without handing it over — most players find the word somewhere around hint three.
Is my progress saved?
Rounds played, hints used and how often you found it unaided are stored on this device only. There is no account, and nothing is sent anywhere.
