Scrabble GO Word Finder

Type your letters. Every word they can spell comes back grouped by length and priced with standard Scrabble tile values. Use ? for a blank.

Use ? for a blank. It spells a red letter and scores nothing.

Need the board too? The full solver places these words on real squares and scores the premiums.

Longest is not the same as best

The results are grouped longest first because length usually tracks score — but only usually. Q and Z are ten points each and J and X are eight, so a four-letter word built round one of them beats a six-letter word made of ones more often than people expect. Read the number beside each word rather than its length.

The letters that look expensive and are not are the ones worth memorising: G is two, and L, N, S, T and U are all one. A rack of those is not a bad rack. It is a rack that wants a premium square rather than a long word.

Checking for a bingo before you spend the turn

Set the minimum length to seven and this becomes the fastest question in the game: can these letters use all of them at all? Fifty points is a big enough bonus that half a minute of checking always pays. Most bingos in practice are six good letters plus a draw — the six-letter stems are the shapes worth holding together while you wait for one.

What this cannot tell you

Where the word goes. A premium square can triple it, a perpendicular word can score alongside it, and none of that is visible from the letters alone. When the board matters, the Scrabble GO solver takes the position into account and ranks plays by what they would really score. Playing the tabletop game instead? Common questions

What are the numbers beside each word?

The face value of the tiles at standard Scrabble prices, before any premium square. It is what the word is worth on a plain row; where it lands can double or triple it, and the solver works that out once it knows the board.

How do I use a blank?

Type ? in its place. Words that need it show the letter it stands in for in red and score it at zero, which is what makes a blank both the most useful tile in the bag and cheaper than it looks.

Why is a word missing?

The list here is ENABLE, an open reference dictionary. Scrabble GO does not publish the word list it uses and the official Scrabble list is proprietary, so no independent tool can promise an exact match. The overlap is very large; the disagreements are mostly short words and recent additions.

Do I need the board for this?

No, and that is the point. This answers "what can these letters spell". Where to play them, and what it would actually score once premium squares and cross words are counted, needs the position — that is the solver.

Word validity is checked against ENABLE, an open reference dictionary. Word acceptance may vary from the current official Scrabble dictionary.
